Every year, Abingdon & Witney College celebrate the achievements of its students on a special evening at Blenheim Palace.
Held at the end of term in the grand surroundings of the Orangery Room at the Palace, the Student of the Year Awards (SOY) recognise amazing students from across the College's curriculum.
Well over 100 students, staff, friends, and family attend SOY and hear from our Heads of Faculty about student successes, the challenges students have faced and have overcome, and many other inspiring stories.
Each of the College's eleven faculties select two winners whose contribution to their class, dedication to their coursework or apprenticeship or who have overcome adversity is recognised.
This year, the Overall Student of the Year Award went to Rona Smith, who is sadly leaving us to take her place at The Royal National College for the Blind in Hereford.
Special thanks also go to our talented Performing Arts students, who provide musical entertainment during the interval.
