Team AWesome! Coming back even stronger next time!

28th Jun 2022

We all know that the first letters of ‘Awesome’ are A for Abingdon and W for Witney and our Pathways students proved exactly that with their brilliant performance at the Lord's Taverners national tabletop cricket finals at Lords cricket ground earlier this month.

There was high drama as Team AWesome had to endure a recount - which sadly left them one run short of coming in the top three.

However, fourth is a highly respectable position for a first performance in a national finals in any sport, and anyone that remembers Kaya's determination on the Radio Oxford broadcast before the event will be in no doubt that the team will be harder, faster, stronger next time around!

To see what table top cricket is all about and what we can look forward to in 2023......
