Having passed the halfway point of the course, our second Prince’s Trust Team would like to give you an update on their progress…
Last month we completed another successful residential visit to the New Forest, building friendships and learning valuable things about ourselves and each other. On our return to Abingdon, we put our burgeoning team ethic to work for the local community, renovating the car park and outdoor games area at Preston Road Community Centre.
The Mayor of Abingdon, Cllr Margaret Crick, was generous enough to unveil our project, offering some wonderful words of support and encouragement to our deserving Team Members.
Over the next two weeks, our students will apply all that they have learned so far as they seek to make successes of their respective work placements. Already employers are talking about the possibility of full-time work, and the Prince’s Trust students are beginning to think about their futures with confidence and ambition.
