Hairdressing Students Keep Learning with Nine Virtual LSE Masterclasses During Lockdown

11th Mar 2021

Abingdon & Witney College Hairdressing Students have been treated to nine virtual Lee Stafford Education Masterclasses, including hearing from Lee Stafford himself!

“This has been an amazing time for our hairdressing students, they have learned three new haircuts online over the past 6 weeks, whilst developing transferrable industry skills as well. As a team we have managed to maximize the lockdown period by inviting employers into our lessons to share their expertise which has proved a valuable experience for our learners” – Said Jackie Chatterton, Work-based Assessor for Hair and Beauty

The students have also benefited from other industry guest speakers. The speakers shared their business experiences, how Covid-19 has been affecting the industry and how they're preparing for opening the salon doors again.

Students said the masterclasses were "Fantastic was really informative", "Really interesting" & "Loved it".

We are the only college in Oxfordshire to partner with industry-leading hairdresser Lee Stafford to deliver exceptional training at both campuses. Our students practise cutting-edge styles and techniques, designed by Lee and other leading stylists from across the industry.
