The most recent advice from the government to stay at home if at all possible means that we have now closed all of our college buildings to staff and students as of Wednesday 25th March.
The vast majority of our staff are already working from home and the college continues to operate as normally as possible through remote and virtual means. Where possible, students are being taught online and business support functions are fully operational.
We were asked by the government to support our most vulnerable students (including those of key workers) to attend college. We are in a limited way to invited students, on Wednesdays and Thursdays only for now.
We will continue to consult on an individual basis with these students, their parents/ carers and specialist services. Any and all further developments will be communicated here.
Any students or parents/ carers that need support whilst the buildings are closed can email firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 01235 555585 and leave a voicemail message.
All other students
Information for our discrete groups returning to campuses this academic year (2019/2020) can be found here. For all other students, the college buildings remain closed until further notice, as instructed by the government. Online teaching, learning and assessment is taking place wherever possible.
Apprentices & Employers
The College's Apprenticeship team are still operating as normal and working from home. Please email email@example.com if you would like to speak to one of the team.
Common Leys Farm campus
The farm campus remains open to a small group of staff for animal welfare related matters only.
Our priority is to help students, parents/carers, and our staff to take sensible and proportional steps to support learning, health and well-being.
We have compiled information for self-isolation, student interviews and more on separate web pages:
