This course gives you the foundation skills and confidence if you have never done Yoga before and are curious about exploring the practice. It also allows you to continue your Yoga journey if you are a little unsure of bringing yourself back to your practice.
The course will look at the fundamental practices of yoga. You will move through and experience the most frequently used Yoga poses, becoming familiar with their feeling and sensation as well as names. We will break down and work poses with safe alignment, accommodating injury and modifications as needed. We will work with and experience Pranayama practices to complement our physical practice. You will be introduced to breathing practices and methods to help you during your practice and to facilitate a deeper understanding of the importance of using our breath in our practice.
Please note there will be no teaching sessions on 04/05/2020 and 25/05/2020
