This course is designed for those who wish to continue to learn how to paint in the medium of watercolour. It is a practical, structured and comprehensive course that will continue to teach the further skills and techniques necessary to paint in this beautiful and inspiring medium, while still receiving lots of help and support from your tutor.
You will: Explore a further variety of washes and use of brushwork. Extend your knowledge of how to use watercolour pencils and a range of mixed media approaches. Apply pen and wash. Experiment further with different watercolour effects to produce creative textures on paper. Explore and further develop your own personal style and painting signature. Receive lots of help and advice, through demonstrations from your tutor, plus one to one guidance and creative work within a supportive group setting. Please do not purchase these until the course has been confirmed. What you need to bring to the first session: A4 watercolour paper pad Small white plate to mix colour on. Jam jar for water Kitchen paper HB pencil and sharpener A range of watercolour paints either tubes or in a paintbox Your tutor will advise you of further art materials that you will need as the course progresses.
