This course will extend the knowledge previously gained during your Level 2 qualification. Develop and combine your technical and creative nail skills to enhance your own professional profile. This exciting course will require you to be involved in photoshoots, catwalk shows and competition work. In addition you will be working within our commercially-equipped nail bar, using professional products. Our lecturers use current trending techniques to ensure that you are qualified to the highest standard and have acquired the skills required to work professionally as a Nail Technician.

This qualification includes all the required elements to work effectively as a nail technician including: enhance and maintain nails using UV gel and liquid and powder. You will also develop your understanding and skills by studying specialist units which include: designing and creating nail art, air brush designs, enhancing nails with electric files, implementation of promotional activites, which will involve running the College's professional nail bar for 10 hours of additional study possibly on a Friday.
Throughout this qualification you will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology, health and safety, client care and nail product knowledge. You will develop a range of technical skills in nail enhancements, using a variety of different products, tools and techniques. You will also develop interpersonal skills that will assist you to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure that you gain the results from your design projects.

Level 3 Theatrical, Special Effects, Hair and Media Make-up Diploma
Level 2 Diploma in Nail Technology. The course also requires an interview prior to enrolling.
In addition to the main course fees given below there is an additional cost for uniform, kits etc details of which are given at interview (Costs are given for guidance only.)

Due to COVID-19 we are not currently planning any trips as part of your course. If we are able to organise trips during your course, the cost of these will be communicated to you at the time. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate. Bursaries may also available to cover the cost of some trips.
