Uniformed Services with Sport Level 2

The course is made up of a range of industry driven topics to fully prepare students for their next steps. These include:
• Investigate Employment in the Uniformed Services
• Physical Fitness for the Uniformed Services
• Develop Team Working and Problem-Solving Skills
• Health and Safety in the Uniformed Services
• Health and Hygiene in the Uniformed Services
• Follow Uniformed Service Routine
• Exploring Equality and Diversity for the Uniformed Services
• Carry Out Map Reading and Navigation
• Participate in Competitive Sports

This course provides students with the opportunity to progress to Level 3 qualifications such as the Level 3 Extended Diploma in either Sport or Uniformed Services); alternatively, you may consider seeking employment in the Public Services or sport industry.

Joining this study programme is subject to a satisfactory interview and the following achievements: At least 4 x GCSE grade 3 or above, usually including English or maths.

A fee of approximately £70 for uniform will need to be paid directly to the supplier. Further information on this will be given during induction.

Study trips and visits linked to modules are arranged as part of your programme of study. Fees regarding these trips are listed below with further advisement upon the start of the course. A day trip and induction trip fee will be payable at induction and are correct at the time of writing:

Day trip fees: £60 (this covers two trips)
Induction trip fee: £95 (Bootcamp Induction trip)

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate. Bursaries may also available to cover the cost of some trips.

NCFE Level 2 Diploma for Entry to the Uniformed Services

The Level 2 Uniformed Services with Sport study programme includes a variety of engaging assessment methods including portfolio and coursework-based submissions.
