Learn the technique involved in making a stained-glass lead panel for the house and the garden or learn the copper foil technique. Use your design or one the Tutor provides, your choice. There will be design books for you to use in the session for ideas. Plenty of individual attention by the Tutor throughout the course.

By the end of the course you will be able to plan and create a piece of stained glass taking into consideration
• Complexity of design
• Appropriate types and colours of glass
• How to work safely
• Using the appropriate tools
• How to best clean and finish your work

All specialist equipment required to complete the course (such as glass grinders, soldering irons, glass cutter, pliers and other specialist equipment as required) will be supplied by the Tutor.

Please note that, as vehicles cannot be driven onto the school site, you will need to transport your work within the campus on arrival. Whilst a trolley is available for your use, we recommend that you choose a project which you can lift and carry comfortably.

Please note there will be no teaching sessions on 04/05/2020 and 25/05/2020.
