This 7 week course is for the students who wish to extend and enhance their skills in Jewellery making. In this course intricate techniques will be applied to create a unique piece of jewellery such as Texturing, Mounting and Setting Stones.
In order to avoid disappointment, it is advisable to enrol at least 2½ weeks prior to the course starting. We will confirm course information two weeks prior to the start date.
• Use different tools in designing.• How to work on the different types of textures of the metal used and why it is important.• Technique to use the wire to create a piece of Jewellery.• Creating different shapes of mounts for different shapes of gemstones.
Please note there will be no teaching session on 19/12/2022, 26/12/2022, 02/01/2023.
Tea/Coffee are available to make, with a small charge. There is a watercooler on site making it easy to refill your water bottle.Free parking.
