This course is for those who want to learn very basic structures and vocabulary, understand and make yourself understood in a limited range of predictable everyday situations. This may be a good place for those “Rusty” beginners who have learned very little Russian or absolute beginners who have picked up some of the language either on holiday or through work and want to start to expand their knowledge base.
Course Aims: continue to understand and make yourself understood in a further range of predictable everyday situations. You will learn basic grammar and vocabulary for topics ‘Family’, ‘Hotel’, ‘Restaurant’, ‘Hobbies’ and ‘Time’.By the end of the course you will be able to:• state a possession, presence or absence• book accommodation in a hotel• order a meal in a restaurant• talk about hobbies and pastimes• ask and tell the time (in whole hours)
