A course that offers comprehensive, non-aerobic exercises to help improve posture and balance, maintain suppleness, promote fitness and general wellbeing. The exercises are underpinned by the Alexander Technique, Pilates and Yoga. The tutor will tailor exercises to suit personal needs. Come and learn about your posture.
In order to avoid disappointment, it is advisable to enrol at least 2½ weeks prior to the course starting. We will confirm course information two weeks prior to the start date.
The exercises work through the whole body and are repeated each session so that you can remember them and continue to practice at home. The exercises involve both standing and lying on the floor. This course is about maintaining fitness, suppleness and muscle tone and improve posture, balance and wellbeing.
Please wear comfortable and loose fitting clothing, have bare feet or non-slip socks. Bring along an exercise mat and a small pillow to support your head when lying on the floor.
Please note there will be no teaching session on 22/02/2022.
