This course is designed to suit your individual needs, whether a novice or more experienced in drawing and painting. You will have the opportunity to explore a variety of classical methods and contemporary approaches, whilst covering a range of art and design techniques using a range of media. You will be able to receive constructive support from you tutor and peers to further develop your technical skills and creativity.
You will:• Explore creative processes of art project development• Enjoy working with different materials and techniques to suit your needs• Explore use of line, tone, composition, pattern, shape, tonal value, colour and texture• Express your creative ideas through group discussions • Explore and develop your personal style What you need to bring to each session:• A2/A3 sketch book or cartridge paper 160 grams• A range of pencils eg, HB, 2B, 4B• Eraser• Sharpener Your tutor will advise you of any other materials you may need as the course progresses. Please note there will be no teaching session on 26/05/2020.There are no refreshments available – please bring refreshments with you.There is free parking.
