This course is designed for young adults who have an EHCP (Education Health and Care Plan) who wish to develop further their independence and work skills ready for employment and achieve an Entry 3 level qualification.

Students will be able to work towards appropriate math's, English qualifications, and complete an accredited employability qualification at entry 2. Alongside the main course they will also have the opportunity to improve their cooking skills, take part in sports activities, complete relevant work experience, and engage in the college’s core programme aimed at learning about the world around them

Ongoing assessments through the academic year in class, using a variety of methods to build a portfolio of evidence
At an appropriate time depending on progress made against EHCP outcomes students could transition into employment, supported internship, Fast Forward or mainstream courses.
Places on these courses are coordinated through the EHCP Consultation process via Oxfordshire County Council SEN team. Students will also be assessed during transition meetings to be able to confirm a Pathways placement.
As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate. Bursaries may also available to cover the cost of some trips.
