Drawing in the Museum! A wonderful way to get to know the exhibits and create your own unique art samples! You are encouraged to experiment with a variety of drawing materials and techniques and find their strength. This intensive course is structured to suit your pace and prior abilities.
Absolutely no previous experience is required.
The ten sessions will take place in the museum itself. The idea is that you sketch and develop your drawings using different tools or media in any way that you choose. Each week the tutor will take you through a specific planned task, demonstrating and supporting you, one to one.
You will need to bring your own basic materials to use in the Museum -
• sketchbook or pad with a hard back• bull dog clip or masking tape• pencils only • Sharpeners must be enclosed or in a plastic bag.
There is a cafe for refreshments or bring your own to drink in the designated area downstairs.
Please note there will be no teaching sessions on 21/12/20, 28/12/20 and 4/1/21
Abingdon and Witney College is subject to Ofsted regulation and is required to work with all its students to make sure they understand Government initiatives around Safeguarding, Prevent and Fundamental British Values. Information on these matters will be shared with you during your course.
You will also be asked to complete monitoring paperwork, which helps us to deliver course content to the highest quality.
