This short course will take a holistic look at the menopause and explore natural ways of support yourself during this time.
This course is for anyone who is looking to find out more about what happens during the menopause and the various symptoms that can arise during this time. It aims to help people find ways to support themselves or others around them, and ways to manage symptoms during this time of change.
The course will look at ways to support yourself through the four pillars of health: nutrition, exercise, stress reduction and sleep. It will consider ways you can adapt to your body’s changing needs. The course will also look at symptom management and the option of HRT as well as alternatives.
By the end of this course you will be able to:
· recognise what happens at menopause· identify the four pillars of health and how to use these to support yourself or others through the menopause· recognise symptom management options available
