Level 1 Award in Preparing to Work in Schools

There are three units in this qualification and the criteria will be covered over the ten weeks of the course.

Learners can progress to, Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning.

This qualification is aimed at a range of learners who are thinking of working in a school setting including: young people, mature learners, learners with special educational needs or where English is an additional language.

Please note - you should be 19 years old or over at 31st August 2020

Due to COVID-19 we are not currently planning any trips as part of your course. If we are able to organise trips during your course, the cost of these will be communicated to you at the time. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate. Bursaries may also available to cover the cost of some trips.

Level 1 Award in Preparing to Work in Schools.

Learners will be able to participate in weekly, classroom activities to build and share knowledge alongside their peers. There will be opportunities to have discussions, do short presentations, design leaflets and complete a diary to reflect on weekly lessons. There is no exam attached tomthis course.
