Cloud computing is a term that many will be familiar with but not everyone will understand or appreciate the nuances of a tool that allows the physical confines of a computer to be overcome.
This course is designed to allow to allow learners to gain an insight into the basics of the cloud and demystify this innovative method of working with computers.
In order to avoid disappointment, it is advisable to enrol at least 2½ weeks prior to the course starting. We will confirm course information two weeks prior to the start date.
We will be covering a wide range of topics such as:
• What is cloud computing and why does it matter?• What are the three types of cloud computing?• What are the different types of cloud storage solutions?• What is the difference between cloud computing and cloud storage?
There are vending machines available where cold drinks and snacks can be purchased. Hot water unit available for hot drinks with a small charge. There is a watercooler on site making it easy to refill your water bottle.Free parking in allocated bays only at front of building, outside main gates to the left and right or on road.
