A good starting point to learn more about the concept of Life Coaching and how it can help you in life. You will learn the latest techniques from a Certified Business and Life Coach with many years’ experience in this field. She has worked with over 300 trainee coaches to help them discover how they can break free from their own inner negative thoughts and not only help themselves achieve more but also help others.

This course offers an opportunity to practice new skills in a fun environment. It can enable you to learn to assess your life, learn to listen and help others come to terms with changes they may want to make in their lives too.

The course will offer a definition of Life Coaching, and will include looking above the line and below at how we behave. Find out more about some models and methods including the ‘GROW’ model, Wheel of Life, the meaning of ‘Be- Do- Have’ and how this can help in one’s own life. Explore some goal setting models including short- and long-term goals. Also gain rapport and consider the impact one’s self-limiting beliefs may have.

The course offers a good chance to try this new exciting field, less expensively in a fun and safe environment. A book list is provided along with the latest videos and Ted talks to continue independent learning. Why not come along and meet new colleagues and develop your new-found skills in a safe environment.

Abingdon and Witney College is subject to Ofsted regulation and is required to work with all its students to make sure they understand Government initiatives around Safeguarding, Prevent and Fundamental British Values. Information on these matters will be shared with you during your course.

You will also be asked to complete monitoring paperwork, which helps us to deliver course content to the highest quality.

This course has been designed to be delivered as a standalone course or as part of a suite of courses. Why not enrol onto the suite?
