A follow-on course from the Learn how to be a Life Coach – Improvers, offering the opportunity to learn more about the concept of Life Coaching and gain further skills necessary to become a successful Life Coach.
In order to avoid disappointment, it is advisable to enrol at least 2½ weeks prior to the course starting. We will confirm course information two weeks prior to the start date.
Who is this course for?It will be a friendly, fun course with lots of guided, inclusive sessions in a safe environment. You will examine further models and methods that support you gaining further skills needed to become a successful Life Coach.
What the course will cover: This course offers an opportunity to work on your assertiveness and self-confidence, practise your coaching skills and receive feedback from an experienced tutor and your peers. Learn the DISC Model - how it works and discover your own DISC profile. It is a model used by recruiters to identify suitable candidates for a job. The push/pull coaching style will also be covered on this course.
Review the basic skills of the Life Coach gained from the Introduction and Improver courses. Identify your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats using the SWOT analysis. Gain useful information about opening your own business coaching. Create your own business plan with Business Canvas model and use the STAR model to make your case during a presentation challenge. Review the latest YouTube videos and blogs – Anthony Robbins and Lisa Nicholls, the Secret film and discussion. A book list is provided along with the latest videos and TedTalks to continue independent learning. Course OutcomesBy the end of this course, you will be able to:• identify the necessary steps to open your own coaching business• develop your own DISC profile• create your own business plan using the Business Canvas model
