This is the follow on course from Beginners A and should only be considered if you have completed the A course or feel comfortable enough to be able to read and /or write basic hiragana or katakana and some basic Kanji
It is planned that this course will be delivered onsite at the Abingdon Campus, subject to latest government advice. Whilst attending our courses onsite, it is imperative that learners adhere to the latest College covid regulations.
You will learn both Kana scripts and more Kanji characters will be introduced. You will be able to start to develop basic conversations and a deeper understanding of protocol through demonstrations and practical exercises. By the end of the course you should feel confident about the basics of numbers, dates and times, introductions, occupations, travel, locations and hobbies. There will be two presentations on a topic of your own choice which you will develop with the tutor.

For the first week of the course you will need to bring a valid form of identification; this includes passport, driving licence, debit/credit card, Birth Certificate or National Insurance card.
Please note - you should be 19 years old or over at 31st August 2021 prior to starting the course.
