This course is for those students who have completed at least four years of Italian (equivalent to higher Intermediate level) with a sound knowledge of the grammar, and would like to continue practicing the language and improve their vocabulary by learning more of the Italian culture and traditions and compare it to their own.
Please note that this course is planned to be delivered online using Microsoft Teams. Access details will be sent through upon course confirmation.
There will be emphasis on speaking and reading mainly.There will be some homework and suggestions on independent study.Students are required to do revision and complete homework in order to consolidate what has been learnt in class.

Grammatically, you will review and consolidate the constructiona dn use of the past tenses, the subjunctive, the future tense, the conditional and the reported speech.
The book Italia per stranieri (Alma Edizioni) will be used to stimulate conversations and to improve vocabulary.Video clips, movies, news will also eb used to improve listening skills.
In order to avoid disappointment, it is advisable to enrol at least 2 ½ weeks prior to the course starting. We will confirm course information two weeks prior to the start date.
