Have fun as you continue to understand and speak Italian in a range of practical everyday situations, immersing yourself in the culture of Italy along the way.
This course is a continuation from your Italian Beginners Introduction course, or it is the start point if you are a confident but rusty beginner. The emphasis of the course will be on you developing your speaking and listening skills with some focus on reading and writing. You will be introduced to some grammatical aspects such as the present tense embedded into the teaching and learning of the topics. The topics studied depend upon the needs and interests of the group as a whole but may include shopping for food and drink, restaurant, telling the time, buying travel tickets, booking holiday accommodation, describing the weather and describing yourself and family. Depending on the topics chosen by the group, by the end of the course you will be able to: 1 Buy some food & drink and/or clothes (including quantity and colours)2 Order a starter, main and dessert in a restaurant3 Buy tickets for plane/bus/train (specifying date, time and class) and understand basic travel information such as timetables and travel announcements4 Book holiday accommodation (including dates, type of room and facilities)5 Describe the weather in simple terms and comprehend the key points of a simple weather forecast6 Describe yourself and family including number of people, names, ages, professions and physical descriptions

There is no parking on site during the day. Please use Marriotts Walk or Woodford Way Car Parks, which are a few minutes’ walk away.
Please report to Reception on arrival.
