Continue to understand and make yourself understood in a range of increasingly unpredictable everyday situations.
Please note that this course is planned to be delivered online using Microsoft Teams. Access details will be sent through upon course confirmation. In order to avoid disappointment, it is advisable to enrol at least 2 ½ weeks prior to the course starting. We will confirm course information two weeks prior to the start date.
The main topics are designed for those who wish to become more confident when talking in the past and begin to talk about the future. You will continue to practise all four skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) with the emphasis on the spoken language. Learning activities will include individual, pair, small group, and whole class work. You will listen to the spoken word, practise speaking, play games, read short but more complex texts, and write short accounts. If you are to gain maximum benefit and enjoyment from your language class, it will be useful to spend some time working between sessions. There will usually be a small amount of homework set each week (up to an hour’s work). When homework is not set, it is still a good idea to spend about that amount of time going over what has been done in class.
Please bring a pen and paper.
