You will have been studying now long enough to have enough language to get by, with sufficient vocabulary to express yourself on topics such as family, hobbies and interests, work, travel, and current events. You will express opinions, comparisons, uncertainty and doubts that take place in the past, the present, the future. In order to avoid disappointment, it is advisable to enrol at least 2½ weeks prior to the course starting. We will confirm course information two weeks prior to the start date.
You are now using reasonably accurately a repertoire of frequently used "routines" and patterns associated with more predictable situations. As a result, you will keep going comprehensibly, even though pausing for grammatical and lexical planning and repair, especially in longer stretches of free production. You will also be able to initiate and maintain a face-to-face conversation on a wide range of topics. You will be able to read, write and express your thought in a more sophisticated manner whilst developing your understanding of more native speakers from different parts of Germany and its former colonies.
Please note there will be no sessions on 25.10.22, 13.12.22, 20.12.22, 27.12.22, 14.02.22, 04.04.23, 11.04.23, 30.05.23
