This course follows on from the German beginners introduction course. The beginners course is for those who are not complete beginners. The main aim is to help you to ‘get by’ in a German speaking environment. This may be a good place for those “Rusty” beginners who have learned very little German but have also got the confidence to work at a slightly faster pace than the German beginners introduction course.
You will become more confident in spoken German in a range of everyday situations covering topics relevant to both home and work life including: relationships daily routine food transport and holidays You will build on the introduction to basic grammar covered in the previous course and deepen your ability to understand and apply a range of grammatical concepts including tenses and word order. You will also be looking at and picking out the main points from short texts on contemporary subjects. Please note there will be no teaching sessions on 16/02/21, 06/04/21, 13/04/21 and 01/06/21
