The aim of this course is to provide ongoing inspiration for users of DSLR cameras who would like to have set projects to explore with their cameras on a weekly basis, which they can share, discuss and learn from.
There is an assumption that students will know how to use their cameras, although the occasional technical issue will be discussed.
Toward the end of the course, students will have the option to create a photo book.
In order to avoid disappointment, it is advisable to enrol at least 2½ weeks prior to the course starting. We will confirm course information two weeks prior to the start date.
The course will follow a programme according to the interests of the group, made up of some of the following subjects:
How photography is used in advertising Balancing images with text Food photography Working with a restricted colour palette Learning lighting from the great Master's of Art How to represent time in photography David Hockney and “joiners” Minimalist landscapes Silhouette photography Deliberate soft-focus photography

Tea/Coffee are available to make, with a small charge. To reduce the use of single-use plastic water bottles/cups, there is a watercooler on site making it easy to refill your water bottle.Free parking.
