This course corresponds with the level C2 of the European Framework for languages. It is designed to make learners feel as if they were no longer in the United Kingdom but in a café in La Place du Terte or in La Vieux-Port de Marseille amongst the fishmongers.
In this course, students will be working on real texts, fragments from tv programs, radio programs, etc... related to a broad range of topics from equality, technology, environment to personal memories or literature. Students will be able to discuss the material, give opinions and use grammar points, vocabulary and idiomatic expressions in these materials, comfortably. This course also covers sociocultural aspects of France and French colonies
There are no classes on: 24/10/22, 19 & 26/12/22, 02/01/23, 13/02/23, 03/04/23, 10/04/23, 17/04/23, 01/05/23, 29/05/23.
There are vending machines available where hot/cold drinks and snacks can be purchased. There are watercoolers on site making it easy to refill your water bottle.There is no parking on the campus during the day. Please use Marriotts Walk or Woodford Way Car Parks which are a few minutes’ walk away. Please report to Reception on arrival. A photo-id will be issued, for you to wear when you attend classes.
