Turning a posy of flowers into a neat bouquet is a life skill worth having. This workshop will provide you with the key skills you need to enjoy making your own hand tied bouquet.
In order to avoid disappointment, it is advisable to enrol at least 2 ½ weeks prior to the course starting. We will confirm course information two weeks prior to the start date.
On this workshop we will cover:
• How many flowers to use in a handtied bouquet.• How to make handtied flowers in water. • How to make a spiral handtied bouquet• The best ways to secure your bouquet and what to tie the flowers with. • How to prepare your flowers and foliage whether from your garden, the local florist or supermarket. • Experimenting with different colour combinations and discover what colours complement each other. • What foliage works well to produce a great bouquet.
All flowers and foliage are provided in your fee. Please bring an apron, notepad and pen, secateurs, or scissors with you (other equipment will be provided).
Please bring your lunch.Tea/Coffee are available to make, with a small charge. There is a watercooler on site making it easy to refill your water bottle.Free Parking.
