This course is aimed at those who have already learnt the basics of family history research and want to find what other resources they can use to discover more about their ancestors.
Content will include Records Offices and Archives, Family History Societies and Groups, Names and Naming Patterns, Published Material for Family History, Using the Internet. There will be an opportunity to explore books and magazines relating to Family History. There will be time each week for individual research online and the assistance of an experienced researcher.
There are vending machines available where hot/cold drinks and snacks can be purchased. In order to reduce the use of single-use plastic water bottles/cups, there are watercoolers on site making it easy to refill your water bottle.There is no parking on site during the day. Please use Marriotts Walk or Woodford Way Car Parks, which are a few minutes’ walk away.
Please report to Reception on arrival.
