Face Yoga is a relaxing wellbeing technique that can help you to look and feel healthier and younger.
Please note that this course is planned to be delivered online using Microsoft Teams. Access details will be sent through upon course confirmation.
In order to avoid disappointment, it is advisable to enrol at least 2½ weeks prior to the course starting. We will confirm course information two weeks prior to the start date.
Who is this workshop for?Anyone who is interested exploring the benefits of face yoga to strengthen, tone and relax different areas of the face.
What the workshop will cover: This eight-week online course will provide participants with an opportunity to learn new techniques each week and also perfect the previous ones. Just as the muscles in the body benefit from physical exercise, the muscles in the face also respond to exercises that help to tone and lift them. Face yoga combines facial exercises, facial massage, acupressure points and relaxation techniques and is suitable for people of all ages.
As you start to integrate face yoga into your daily routine you will reap the long-term benefits. Each week special attention will be paid to different areas of the face. Please wash hands prior to the class and ideally wear minimal or no make-up. You may also like to have your usual facial oil, serum or moisturiser to hand.
Course OutcomesBy the end of this course, you will be able to:
• identify acupressure points on the face • demonstrate ways to exercise the muscles in the face• recognise how to massage your face as a relaxation technique
Please note there will be no class on: 14/02/2023.
To enable you to enjoy the best online learning experience, you will require a suitable device such as laptop, or tablet. A mobile phone is not ideal for learning this way. For further details, please email, firstname.lastname@example.org.
