This equine first aid course, taught by a specialist professional is perfect for horse owners who want to be prepared should their horse need emergency first aid or treatment for minor injuries.

The course covers a number of commonly faced emergencies and minor injuries; for example - how to treat an injury, wound management, bandaging, dealing with colic, and emergency care in a range of scenarios. The course involves both practical and theoretical sessions.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate. Bursaries may also available to cover the cost of some trips.
