Take your first steps towards a career in the Engineering Industry with a Level 2 Engineering course.

Through a combination of practical experience and written assignments, the course provides learners with the knowledge, skills and understanding needed for a successful career in this fast-paced industry sector. Using our state-of-the-art facilities, you will learn a range of technical, practical and academic skills in order to prepare you for a career in the industry, an apprenticeship or further study. This course offers an array of topics including CAD, materials, the engineering world and machining techniques. As part of this study programme there is an expectation that 3 weeks industry placement is completed.

You have different options. You can progress to the T Level in Engineering or go into an Apprenticeship or study an alternative level 3 qualification within Further Education.
Minimum of 4 GCSE grade 3 including maths and English.
As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate. Bursaries may also available to cover the cost of some trips.
