Drawing on - improvers B is the fifth part of a two-year long, six term drawing course. You can regard the course as a whole or use different terms as a stand-alone course.
This course facilitates, through active self-discovery, the acquisition of new drawing skills and techniques and an improvement in drawing ability.
To offer the opportunity for learners to develop their skills with a wide range of drawing skills and techniques.
In order to avoid disappointment, it is advisable to enrol at least 2½ weeks prior to the course starting. We will confirm course information two weeks prior to the start date.
On this course you will learn:
- How to draw in a rapid gestural manner. - Develop drawing skills using brush, quill and ink.- Draw texture and folded fabric.- Draw animals both 3-dimentional, stuffed and alive.- How to draw the Human Form. Life Drawing. Please bring to the first session: A3 or A4 paper, pencils and charcoal putty rubber, drawing pens if you have them.
Please note there will be no teaching sessions on: 23/02/2022.
Tea/Coffee are available to make, with a small charge. To reduce the use of single-use plastic water bottles/cups, there is a watercooler on site making it easy to refill your water bottle.Free parking.
