Discover the exciting skills of drawing and painting and create your own unique art work. Learn a wide range of drawing and painting techniques. This intensive course provides the necessary information about the tools and techniques of drawing and painting and is structured to suit learners’ pace and prior abilities. See what you can produce after ten sessions and amaze yourself! Absolutely no previous experience is required.
Main topics covered:
• The basic rules of using guidelines to help position things correctly.• Techniques of modern artists related to still-life project.• Creating the three-dimensional image of a still-life in pastel by using different tonal patterns and knowledge about the main rules of perspective. • Visual language in relation to art project: line, pattern, shape and form, tonal value, colour, texture.• Colour theory.• Still-life painting in gouache with a modern abstract perspective.
