A course intended for those who have been exploring family history for a while and are familiar with the basics but want to look at records that can add more in-depth knowledge about ancestors. Being able to access more unusual record collections and resources to assist in individual research and use recording methods to show the life stories of ancestors.
This course develops more in-depth knowledge of genealogy. Subjects covered may include records relating to divorce, wills, military, education, Poor Law, the workhouse, migration, work and occupations, hospitals and asylums. There will be the opportunity to do your own research online with the assistance of an experienced researcher.
There will be no class on 25/06/2021.
