Are you keen on Greek food? Do you enjoy a nice piece of spinach pie or baklava? Would you like to find out how to make it yourself and prepare an authentic Greek style meal for your friends and family? On this course you will learn how to make some very well-known traditional Greek recipes from scratch by using fresh ingredients and herbs. We will be making appetizers and main courses that you would find on any Greek family table all year round.
Please bring the following with you in the first session:Greek courgette fritters with tzatzikiFor the fitters2 big courgettes (approx. 500gr)200gr feta cheese½ onion (preferably not red)2 eggs1/2 bunch fresh parsley1/2 bunch fresh dill1/2 bunch fresh mint2 spring onions½ lemon6 tablespoons of olive oil80-100 gr self-rising flourSaltPepperFor the tzatziki dip:250gr strained yoghurt (Greek style)½ cucumber2 gloves garlic2 tablespoons olive oilsalt
You will also need to bring the following:• Knife • Grater • Teaspoon• Fork • Spoon• Kitchen towel• A small container for the dip• A bowl• Non stick frying pan • A couple of paper towels
