Hydrotherapy has become a key element of supportive care for our beloved four-legged friends. This course will give you an excellent introduction into canine therapy. The qualification allows learners to gain knowledge and understanding of working within the industry and will enable you to develop the skills required to work as an assistant canine hydrotherapist.
The course is made up of both practical and theoretical sessions at the Common Leys Farm Campus. The campus is equipped with a canine hydrotherapy centre, including a pool, treadmill, underwater camera, gait analysis technology, advanced water maintenance systems and is functioning as a successful therapy business.
The course covers a range of topics including; canine health and welfare, canine behaviour, anatomy and physiology, reception duties and meeting visitors.
