There has never been a more important time to undertake this in-depth programme which will provide you with a deep understanding and awareness of symptoms and triggers, as well as how to appropriately manage stress, anxiety and phobias helping you to support family, friends and colleagues.

Mental health now presents one of the greatest impacts on our entire society. Nearly half a billion people around the world experience mental health problems, and roughly a quarter of British adults will have had their own mental health challenge within the course of a year.

Despite this being a widespread issue, there are still countless elements and contributors to mental health that are simply not understood. And thats why our Level 2 certificate in Mental Health Awareness is so crucial.

This in-depth, valuable programme is free of charge and provides students with a deep understanding and awareness of symptoms and triggers, as well as how to appropriately manage stress, anxiety and phobias. These are crucial skills (both in personal and professional capacities) and are particularly beneficial for those working in the care or health sectors.

Youll leave with an actionable understanding of the different ways in which mental health can affect an individual, as well as what is involved in mental health legislation.

VRQs are nationally recognised as professional, reputable qualifications. They provide learners with the tools and support to advance their knowledge, skills and understanding of many specific areas of employment.

There is no need to attend the College as learning will be via our online learning platform. Wherever you are and whatever your circumstances, this is a programme that is flexible enough to fit in with anything.

You will have three months to complete the course and should plan to set aside 7 hours per week dedicated to research and writing assignments.

You will be required to complete an online assessment as well as an interview with the tutor prior to being enrolled to the course.
There is no fee payable for learners

Due to COVID-19 we are not currently planning any trips as part of your course. If we are able to organise trips during your course, the cost of these will be communicated to you at the time. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate. Bursaries may also available to cover the cost of some trips.

There are bursaries available to help you with other course costs. Call 01235 216 298 for more information.

The rules on fee reduction are complicated and we would encourage you to talk to our Admissions staff on 01235 555 585 to discuss your options. You can find more information on our Fees and Bursaries page - search "Fees and Bursaries" at the top of the page.
