This animal first aid course taught by a specialist professional is perfect for owners of all types of domestic pets who want to be prepared should a pet need emergency first aid or treatment for minor injuries. The course includes a range of species including rabbits, cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rodents and exotic pets.

The course covers a number of commonly faced emergencies and minor injuries; for example - how to treat an injury, wound management, CPR, bandaging, allergic reactions, stings, poisoning, choking, and seizures. The course involves both practical and theoretical sessions.

Due to COVID-19 we are not currently planning any trips as part of your course. If we are able to organise trips during your course, the cost of these will be communicated to you at the time. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate. Bursaries may also available to cover the cost of some trips.
