Learn how to give a facial massage to yourself and to friends and family. Ayurveda is the ancient Indian ‘philosophy of life’ which includes massage as a means of maintaining health and wellness.
In order to avoid disappointment, it is advisable to enrol at least 2½ weeks prior to the course starting. We will confirm course information two weeks prior to the start date.
During this course you will learn about the Ayurvedic system of Doshas or constitutional types, discover your Dosha and some tips for maintaining balance and learn about Marma points or energy centres which are located throughout the body. You will learn the location of the Marma points on the face and how to give a facial massage to release stagnant energy from these areas.
Please bring a pillow or cushion, a hand towel, and a large towel. If you have a facial oil that you use at home, please bring it. A selection will also be provided on the day. Please wear minimal or no make-up.
There is a charge of £5 payable to the tutor on the day to cover the cost of materials.
Please bring lunch with you.Tea/Coffee are available to make, with a small charge. To reduce the use of single-use plastic water bottles/cups, there is a watercooler on site making it easy to refill your water bottle.Free parking.
