Places still available…

If you didn’t quite get the GCSE results you wanted, you’re halfway through A Levels and finding it is not quite the right fit, or you’re looking for the next step in your education or career, we’re here to help. There are plenty of ways to gain a valuable qualification that employers want to see at Abingdon & Witney College whatever your situation – here are some of the things you can do:

Our Level 3 vocational courses are equivalent to A Levels, except they are much more practical and project-based, meaning less exam stress and more time getting hands-on in our awesome facilities. At colleges, you generally have a lot more subjects to choose from too, and with us you could do anything from hairdressing to performing arts, or engineering, animal care, music technology, early years and much more. Oh, and we’re also one of the top 5 colleges in England for these courses.

Maybe you feel like you are ready to start employment now, but you need help with getting more experience. If this sounds like you then an apprenticeship with us is an ideal route into a career whilst picking up recognised qualifications along the way. We’ve got fantastic links with employers, we win awards for the quality of our apprenticeships, and were recently graded as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, the highest grade you can receive, so you’ll have the best support available during your apprenticeship. Want to see the latest apprenticeship vacancies in your area? Take a look.

If University-style courses, a degree or a professional qualification is your next step but you don’t quite have the right qualifications, we offer a wide range of routes through Clearing into that too, in the areas of science, business, accounting, equine and loads more. Access to Higher Education courses are ideal for those who want to go onto a degree but maybe haven’t studied for a while, or are looking to go in a different direction – you can find out more about those here.

So get in contact with us today to find out more – call 01235 555 585 or email – or visit the College any Wednesday throughout September and October 1-4pm and we’ll be delighted to help you with making the right choice for you.
