Open days and enrolment

If you have attended an interview to join a course at the College, you will receive a letter inviting you to attend to enrol. If you have not received this letter by 10 August, please contact our Admissions Team, details below.

Please aim to arrive at the time given in your letter and bring the documents requested (e.g. exam results, ID, consent form, etc.). Staff will be available to help you with bursaries, advanced learner loans, Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks and to give any careers guidance you might need. The Student Services Team will be there too should you need to discuss any personal issues in confidence.

It is still not too late to apply!
Get in touch with our Admissions Team to find out what you need to do next.

If you’re unsure about what options you have, or you’re unsure what course you’d like to do, we have Careers Advisers at our Open and Drop-in Days to help you make the right choice.

Schools Liaison

Our Schools Liaison Co-ordinator and Information Advice and Guidance staff are here to help young people get the advice and support they need to make informed choices.

Our Schools Liaison Coordinator is able to offer the following services:

  • Presentations and seminars for pupils about what the college can offer – for instance the courses we run, the additional support available, sports and activities, our facilities and the application process.
  • Taster Days – either at college or at school. This gives pupils the opportunity to try out various subjects in interactive and practical sessions with our tutors
  • Campus and facilities tours for students and teachers

In addition, our Schools Liaison Coordinator can attend careers fairs and other events to talk informally to students and parents to provide them with more information about the college and the courses on offer.

To find out more, or to arrange a Taster Day or attendance at a careers event, call Evie Bennett on 01235 216 301.
