Make us your first choice this September!
Whether you’ve just left school, finding A Levels aren’t really your thing, or looking to get back into education – there are plenty of reasons to come and join Oxfordshire’s most successful college.
Firstly, college life is very different to school and Sixth Form. We treat you as an adult and support you as an individual, giving you the responsibility and room to turn interests into talents, and talents into qualifications.
Classes are more practically focused too, meaning that you learn by doing things, building up your experience and a portfolio of work – ideal for those who struggle with textbooks and regular exams.
The facilities at the College have been designed with this practical learning in mind and have amazing tutors working in them, across a huge range of courses in different industry pathways. We have workshops and classrooms packed with equipment and technology that replicates what you will find in a job, all part of more than £34m of investment into the College’s three campuses in recent years.
We also do more than just full-time courses. For example, we’re leading the way when it comes to Apprenticeships – they are ‘Outstanding’ according to Ofsted and the results for all apprenticeship timely success rates place the college performance within the top 10% of all colleges in England.
When it comes to Level 3 courses (the equivalent of A Levels), we have actually gone one better. The College has trumped more than 200 other General Further Education colleges with its 93.2% achievement rate, the highest in the country.
You might not have known this, but you can also study higher education and professional courses at the College. We run a number of these courses in partnership with Oxford Brookes University, giving students the opportunity to enjoy the university life closer to home.
By studying with us, you will become part of a successful and supportive college that challenges students to be the best they can be.
