Train to Gain
Free training for your employees

What is Train to Gain?
This government funded initiative aims to help businesses across the region identify and undertake the training they need to succeed.
Train to Gain aims to address the skills shortages that continue to have a negative impact on productivity and competitiveness in the Thames valley. Training is tailored to the business needs of the individual employer and training is delivered in the workplace which provides flexibility and reduces employee absence from the workplace.
It will support businesses, which face the biggest challenges on time and cost when training their employees to achieve vocational qualifications.
For some employers this could mean FREE training for those employees studying for their first full Level 2 [GCSE level] and Level 3 [A level] qualifications in the following vocational areas:
- Customer Service
- Distribution, Warehousing and Storage
- Horticulture
- Business Administration.
- Team leading
- Cleansing and Environmental Services
