Vocational courses

Browse our list of subjects and see if a vocational course is right for you

Vocational courses prepare you for progression to Higher Education or direct entry into employment. They will help you to gain the skills necessary to make you more employable.

Specialist vocational qualifications are valued by industry and higher education alike. They encourage and stimulate student achievement through innovative assessment styles, by focusing on the applied knowledge and understanding of the specific sectors. Studied part-time, they can also simply be a way to develop an interest or learn something new.

* If you are under 19 years of age on the 1st September in the year you plan to start the course, you do not normally have to pay any course fees for a full-time course.
However, some full-time courses include a residential week and students normally pay the costs of this.
