Course Fees, Payments & Proof of Funds
Costs & How to Pay
The fees listed here are for international students from outside of the EEA who will require a student visa to enter the UK.
As a guide, these are tuition fees for the year 2010–2011:
- All level 3 courses – £5,080 per year
- EFL level 1 or 2 courses – £5,080 per year
- Foundation Degree courses – Price on request
The above charges are for tuition fees only. This does not include exams, materials, or additional costs for kit, sweatshirts, books etc that may be required for your course. If they are required for your course, they will be essential items and will need to be purchased.
You can pay either by cheque or by bank transfer/banker’s draft.
- Cheque – Made payable in pounds sterling to Abingdon & Witney College
- Bank transfer/bankers draft – Payable in pounds sterling. Ask at your local bank for more information. Please fax or email a copy of the bank transaction paper to us (please see the contact page for details). You will need the College bank details:
Name and address: Lloyds TSB, Witney, UK
Account number: 01039176
Sort code: 30-99-78
You will pay the rest of your course fees (less your deposit) on enrolment day at College.
We do not offer scholarships.
Deposits & Refunds
Deposit for all courses is 25% of the total course fees.
If you are unsuccessful with your visa application we will require a copy of a visa or home office refusal letter. We will then refund your deposit minus £200.
We do not refund fees for students who leave before completing their course, and any students leaving before the course finishes will be deported by the UK Border Agency.
Proof of Funds
The new rules for obtaining a student visa require you to have proof of available funds to cover the cost of your course and your stay in the UK. This proof must be from either you or your sponsor and should be a copy of a bank statement (with available cash showing), a loan in your name or official government sponsorship. You will need this when you have your visa interview at the Visa Services/Application Centre in your country.
