This course is open to candidates seeking to extend their skills in this field, perhaps following on from Book-keeping and Sage Accounts Level 1. The aim of the qualification is to enable learners to carry out everyday operational aspects of computerised accounts. These will include processing accounting transactions, producing customer and supplier documentation and producing reports such as aged creditor analysis and sales day book summaries for management purposes, processing a wages journal and dealing with discounts. Sage Computerised Accounts Level 1 and a knowledge of basic book-keeping would be an advantage. This qualifi cation is assessed by a two hour question paper, which will be externally marked.
