    The Apprenticeship Job Shop

Do you know anyone who is thinking about doing an apprenticeship? Maybe someone who has left their course, didn’t get the grades they needed, or wants a change in job?

Our apprentices arrive from a variety of backgrounds and leave us with real skills, fully prepared for the workplace whilst also gaining the theory needed to back up their practical experiences.

Some of the biggest employers in Oxfordshire work closely with us, including University of Oxford, Oxfordshire County Council, Unipart, Thames Valley Police, Williams F1, and many more. We have strong links with these employers, both within the county and nationally, and are proud of the success rates our apprentices achieve.

Our apprentices do real jobs for real employers, so you earn while you learn. Apprenticeships are the ultimate employment preparation, using a practical combination of college-based and workplace training that teaches industry-specific skills needed for the workplace. You get a great support structure through your college tutor, assessor and your employer, achieve recognised qualifications and get the best possible start to a career.

In March 2017, Ofsted rated our Apprenticeship programme as “Outstanding”, just a month after winning Best Training Provider at the 2017 Oxfordshire Apprenticeship Awards (OAA) and we have since retained this award at the 2018 OAA.

To help those looking for opportunities in the apprenticeship market, we are running an Apprenticeship Job Shop at both campuses on Wednesday 4th July from 1-5pm. This is a great opportunity to find out about our newest vacancies, get expert guidance on any aspect of apprenticeships, and advice on applications.

Drop by either our Abingdon or Witney campus on Wednesday to find out more. You might just take that first step to a rewarding career!
